OUTREACH

Our Outreach program supports families raising children with developmental disabilities experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural challenges. We work collaboratively with the family on specific goals and provide parenting and behavioral strategies.

Are there any eligibility requirements to access this service?

The child must be eligible for supports through Family Supports for Children with Disabilities (FSCD).

Is there a cost?

This is a free service.

How does it work?

  • Voluntary and parent-driven, participants spend one hour per week working on parenting strategies.

  • Strategies are tailored to each family.

  • This support is meant to be short-term, and there may be a waitlist for service.

  • Families are always welcome to come back and use Outreach services again in the future.
