About the event
Come harvest your own tree! Food and beverages will be provided. Open to all clients and staff. Dress appropriately for the weather! This area will have more snow than Calgary. Cell phone service is poor so save a copy of these directions!
Important: Bring proof of AISH as it will be required to obtain free park pass for vehicle!
Directions:
Head towards Elbow Falls via Highway 22 which becomes Highway 66.
Stop at Elbow Valley Visitor Centre (also called Gooseberry) for a FREE park pass
Proceed approximately 3KM to McLean Creek Provincial Recreation Area and make a left turn.
Keep right at first fork in the road, then turn left into McLean Pond Day Use Area.
After having lunch, people getting trees will be provided directions to reach designated cutting area.
