Counseling - For All Ages
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Calgary SCOPE Society believes that support includes the ability to reflect, listen and provide options for people living with a developmental disability. Our counseling department provides therapy free of charge to adults who have PDD funding. Our counselors help people understand their feelings and sort out their problems. We encourage involvement from individuals, partners, families, support workers.
Our strength as an agency is based on our ability to be flexible and responsive to a variety of people who work with us.
In addition to free counseling services SCOPE therapists also run small groups on a variety of topics pertaining to mental health and wellness Examples of groups are: Anxiety Support, Sexual Wellness, etc.
Training opportunities are available to students studying disability therapy. Please contact our office to discuss this further.
