As a SCOPE donor, you are welcome to review our programs and direct your funds to the area that you would like to donate towards. You also have a variety of options on how you would like to pay for your donation.

The list of SCOPE programs are below.

ESSENTIAL SERVICES:

The Emergency Client Fund Ensures that our clients are able to stay in their homes and have essential services such as food, water, utilities and heat.

CHILDREN/FAMILY SERVICES:

Pay it Forward Allows individuals or families who have the means to help, to provide resources to families that do not. This monthly "giving for living" will be disbursed to specific clients or to those at highest need.

EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS:

The Picture This... Film Festival Allows the international community to explore the issues of disability through film festivals throughout Alberta. Whether the topic is about disability, the film makers are disabled, or the cast is disabled, the opportunity to challenge, educate, and reframe social preconceptions around disability are presented.

SOCIAL JUSTICE:

Speak Out/ Disability Action Hall Provides resources to affect change around social justice issues. Allows disabled individuals, allies and support networks to come together to discuss and challenge social structures that constrict their lives' and their experiences. From being supported in writing letters to their MLA's to Disability Pride Parades, this grassroots program helps friends, allies, and disabled people speak honestly about their needs and their experiences.

QUALITY OF LIFE:

The Counseling Services Fund Ensures that individuals or families struggling with mental health or life issues that involve a developmental disability are able to talk to a trained therapist at no charge.

Seniors in Action Help seniors with developmental disabilities continue to improve and expand in their journeys in their senior years.

Holiday's For Hope Providing weekend retreats to individuals and families that need respite and do not have the funds to do so. SCOPE, in conjunction with the Canmore Rotary and Spring Creek Resorts provide a disability suite in Canmore for SCOPE clients.

Christmas Hamper Fund Provides food hampers and gift certificates to families in need.

GENERAL FUNDS:

Friend of SCOPE Provides funds for SCOPE to be used throughout the agency at the discrepancy of the executive.
